I downloaded the installer but failed to install.
When i click the D3 setup, it says "failed to extract required files from an archive, please try again".

Stixx I farmed act 2 inferno for more than a week, made a few million gold, then just ended buying some gear in ah to beat belial, which totally spoiled the fun, and now it's the same shit for act 3.

Bored too. And this AH totally ruined the game imo, you are supposed to farm the same farming spots for months until you find a good upgrade by yourself.

There was too much hype around this game.

How do you guys play on the asian servers ?
I live in shanghai and without a proxy or anything i get around 300-1000ms on asia servers... however on the US, i get around 150-250. Pretty wierd.

I live in Guangzhou and the connection for me is ok 50-300.
Maybe you could try using a vpn.

It's awesome at first, but it got boring fast. I'm not sure why but I can't find it in myself to log back onto D3. It just doesn't have the same appeal D2 had.

Too much hype IMO. It's just not deep enough to keep you hooked like mmo. And I find the AH ruined a bit the game. Items drop with AH in mind meaning you gotta play the farmers game to get something worth equipping

And the last news about an invulnerability bug that just got fixed (weeks after rmah) did't help lol.

And not mentioning disconnects that make you lose your 5 stacks of nephalem, and it can take a lot of effort to get to 5, and it's pointless to play the endgame without them.

I'm going to rename this thread "Guild wars 2" soon.

Patch 1.04 adds this new "Paragon" system. Seems just like the thing to get me interested in the game again. Basically it gives you 3% Magic find and 3% gold find every time you get a paragon level , up to 300% MF/GF total. One of the reasons I found myself playing D2 a lot was because of how easy it was to see awesome uniques drop from bosses. I farmed for like a week Inferno Act 1 on my wizard to only see a set item drop with shitty stats rolled. Only sold it for 500k coins, so bogus. This patch better change that. I don't plan on playing this game anymore if I'm not rewarded for my time spent.
